About Me.....

My name is Odette, I am in my late 30s and I have a rare condition.  I have been under a Specialist Consultant & a Neurology Team in London for the last 7 years.

I have undergone all manner of tests, blood tests, biopsies, skin biopsies and scans.  I have had catheters, cannulas, Vas Caths and now I have a permanent chest line which is the reason for this blog.

Prior to becoming Ill, I played golf off of +2, played county and club golf, was Lady Captain aged 30 and passed exams to become a county rules official.  I went to the gym twice a day and as a teen played county tennis and progressed rapidly in Karate.

Being ill means no golf, no tennis and no swimming.  It has meant I have started new passions of photography and walking.
I am involved with Muscular Dystrophy UK and through them over the past 7 years have given various interviews to Golf Magazines.

I work full time in Pharmacy for the NHS, I am married and have a miniature labradoodle called Lindo and I drive a Volvo.

Please feel free to contact me, leave me messages and comments on my posts.  Please remember, I am new to this so please be kind.
