Society and its Survival

It is not possible to grasp the infinite from a position that is finite.
This seems like a very good place to start.
Dual thinking is the idea that something is either/or, that it's either good or bad, right or wrong.
The concept of up and down seems to make sense from a gravitational perspective, but if, for example, you happened to be in outer space, it makes no sense at all as there is no up or down.
Every polar opposites is laced with judgement and the need for resolution.  I make judgements or assumptions everyday.
Dual thinking has become integrated in how I process things, and it is rooted in fear, fear of what I don’t know, fear of what I don’t understand, and fear of what I cannot control.  Being right seems to temporarily quieten the screaming monkeys.
For me to be right, someone is wrong.  When I think in black and white, I miss out on all the different shades in-between.
Sometimes, I have been so focused on being right, of making sure my viewpoint was heard, that I missed all the learning, wisdom, and connection that are just waiting to be discovered.
I am wondering how can dual thinking represent truth when something can be right for one person, but wrong for another?  Maybe truth is just about perspective and no one person can be judge, jury and executioner on that.  This is not ideal for humans, neither does it bode well for communities, nations, and governments. We all have seen what happens. One group tries to overpower another group, to convince them that their way is the right way and the end result 99.9% of the time is that people usually die.
I believe that based on my religious background that it's possible for something to be both/and at the same time, that two contradictory viewpoints can co-exist.  The goal being evolution and continuation.

Father Richard Rohr is a famous Roman Catholic Franciscan Priest and he believes non dual thinking to be our ability to read reality in a way that is not judgemental, in a way that is not exclusionary of the part that we don't understand.
Werner Erhard said there is something I do not know, the knowing of which could change everything.
Werner Erhard helped me shift my limited parameters and cleared my mind to think bigger, outside of the box.  I know what I know but I don't know what you know and that to me seems fascinating.
I habe acknowledged that in the grandscheme of things, I only have limited information, that I know only a fraction of what there is to know, and that there is an infinite amount that I don’t know, this opens up a huge world of possibility, acceptance, and understanding for me.
I know I do not have all the answers, or really any answers for that matter. There are perspectives that I cannot even fathom or even remember and I am only 39! I know how relaxed and unencumbered I have become living my life in this way.
I wish the human race could accept that we need to learn to interact in a way that doesn't require winners or losers.  I believe that would create unity in society and naively I believe alot of our issues would disappear.
I believe our collective survival as a species depends on it.
